Outbrain DSP integration
Set up Outbrain DSP tracking in Skro, configure traffic source parameters, and connect your advertising campaigns.
From August 6, 2024, Zemanta will officially rebrand as Outbrain DSP.
With the transition to Outbrain DSP, all Outbrain platforms are unified into one interface, simplifying the buying process and enhancing the overall user experience for advertisers. Don’t worry, Outbrain DSP offers the same functionality as Zemanta, now under a new name to align with the Outbrain family. As an Outbrain DSP user, you can continue to manage your campaigns and activity in exactly the same way that you already know and are familiar with, just under a fresh new brand.
Outbrain DSP integration gives you the ability to manage and optimize all your Outbrain DSP ad campaigns through the Skro interface.
- Sync cost on publisher level every 30 min.
- Check delivery status of campaigns, ad groups and ads.
- Pause or resume ad groups, ads and publishers.
- Change daily budget and bid for ad groups.
- Check the status of your campaigns, ad groups, ads and publishers.
In this guide, you will learn how to set up your campaigns in Outbrain DSP and Skro so Outbrain DSP can pass information to Skro and back with a selected tracking method. This guide does not cover all aspects and options available when creating a campaign on these two platforms. Basic knowledge regarding setting up campaigns in Outbrain DSP and Skro is required.

Open the generated campaign URL and check that the visit appears in Skro. Confirm that traffic source macros resolve to actual values. If you send conversions back to the source, verify a test conversion in both systems.
Troubleshooting
If data is missing, check the selected workspace, integration, campaign, and reporting date range. Compare parameter names and macro values with the examples in this guide before repeating the test.
